K-9 Unit

 

The Greeneville Police Department K-9 unit currently consists of 1 officer / K9 team. Officer Cameron Spradlin and his partner Hakim are assigned to a regular patrol shift. Officer Spradlin is a 12 year veteran of law enforcement. His K9 Hakim is a German Shepard trained in narcotic detection. Specifically, the K9 is trained to detect marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin. Hakim is a passive response K9. Officer Spradlin and Hakim have been partners for 4 years. The Officer and K9 form a strong bond due to the numerous hours spent together both on and off duty.

The Greeneville Police Department plans to ad an additional K9 patrol unit in the near future.
