The Greeneville Police Department is currently seeking funding through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA)’s Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG). This is a block grant and requires no “matching” or continuing funds from the Town of Greeneville. This is the first year that the Greeneville Police Department has applied for the Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant.
The Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant is a federally funded endowment. As part of the Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant requirements, the Greeneville Police Department must notify the public that it is seeking the grant. A copy of the Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant application will be kept on file at the Greeneville Police Department records division (Greeneville Police Department, 200 N.
